Meet the Founder

Rory Nelor is a senior leadership advisor, speaker, and leadership development professional with over 27 years of service in the Department of Defense.
During his military career, Rory served at the highest strategic levels of human capital management, advising senior leaders on personnel strategy, workforce development, and talent management initiatives impacting more than 330,000 Soldiers and civilians nationwide.
Rory has extensive experience developing leaders, strengthening organizational culture, and implementing strategies designed to improve performance, accountability, and long-term effectiveness.
Throughout his career, he has remained committed to a leadership philosophy rooted in humility, service, and responsibility.
Rory believes leadership is not about being served — it is about serving well.
Through The Selfless Servant Collective, he now dedicates his experience to equipping leaders and organizations with practical tools and principled frameworks that strengthen influence, improve culture, and produce meaningful results.
